Throughout the year, we run monthly Social Days (mostly at our home course, Barwon Valley), and our members regularly compete in tournaments across the country. We are a not-for-profit Incorporated Association, and are affiliated with both Disc Golf Victoria, and Australian Disc Golf. Our members are always willing and keen to teach the basics, so if you want to give disc golf a try, please reach out. If you’re on Facebook, check out our group, and consider signing up as a member.

Registration will open to male players in early May if the event is not full. About the Women’s Global Event (WGE) Inaugurated in 2012, this biennial event continues to break records as the largest PDGA event for a single demographic within the sport of disc golf. The idea is that no woman is playing alone (even if she is the only woman playing at her local tournament) as women all over the world are playing with her that day. How It Works Women from all around the world play two rounds of disc golf at their local participating PDGA Women’s Global Event. Scores from the first two rounds of each participating tournament are submitted by the individual tournament directors and rated by the PDGA. These round ratings are averaged to determine the player’s “Global Score.” The global results are updated throughout the event to determine our PDGA Women’s Global Event Champions, and the winner in each division will receive a memorable trophy. The PDGA has waived all temporary membership and player fees for all WGE divisions at this global event so that it is more accessible for new players. Note: Junior divisions age 12 and under will have only one round included in the overall PDGA Women’s Global Event. If they play multiple rounds, only their first round will count toward the Global leaderboard. More Information Further information about the WGE can be found on the PDGA site: https://www.pdga.com/women/global-event
